Every activity involved in the manufacturing process is documented in our Quality Assurance System, certified to ISO 9001 by Det Norske Veritas.Planning and Manufacturing Control is operated by an integrated computing network. It administers Quality Assurance and Quality Control together with Engineering, Production Scheduling, Manufacturing, Procurement, Stocks, Reception and Delivery functions.
FAVRA's Quality Control Department is responsible for all inspection and testing activities, from reception of materials until the final good is obtained. Each part of a valve has its own Inspection and Testing Plan. This plan specifies the controlled parameters and the required instrumental. Every valve is pressure-tested according to the applicable standards, and also to meet customer's particular specifications.
All of FAVRA's valves are manufactured with our own engineering, keeping every design activity under control according to ISO 9001 requirements.
The description of each product relates to the applicable design standards and specifications.
A sophisticated computer system assists FAVRA engineers in making 3D-designs, solid modeling and finite elements stress analysis.
